For the second edition of the Reiffers Art Initiatives Prize, the members of the artistic committee have chosen five emerging artists from the contemporary scene. This new group show, entitled "INFILTRÉES - 5 manières d'habiter le monde", highlight the artistic process of these young talents. This year's prize honors the early career of the artist Ser Serpas.

is the laureate of the 2023 Reiffers Art Initiatives Prize.
The artist's works form abstract poems that tell of our relationship with our environment and our ability to make it our own, to reassemble it as much as to sublimate it. The artist, represented by Balice Hertling gallery, is not content to simply grapple with the world, Serpas works just as hard to reconfigure it aesthetically and conceptually, to propose other imaginaries and other ways of making the world, together. Voted for by the public and the Reiffers Art Initiatives artistic committee, the work of this young American artist living in Paris was singled out for its artistic approach and the sensitivity of its process, which reflect the tensions shaking today's society.

The members of the Reiffers Art Initiatives artistic committee are invited to vote and reward a young talent from a selection of emerging artists in contemporary art. The winner of the Prize is awarded an allowance of 10,000 euros to finance their artistic production.
