LES APPARITIONS

Under the high patronage of the Ministry of Culture.

“Since its creation in 2021, Reiffers Art Initiatives has been strongly committed to supporting the emerging art scene and cultural diversity. With 8 exhibitions and 34 artists, our programming has contributed to the rise of an exceptional new generation. This permanent exhibition reflects on the past four years, unveiling part of our collection for the first time. It brings together iconic pieces from past exhibitions and previously unseen works.”

The exhibition, bringing together more than twenty works (paintings, sculptures, and installations) mainly from the Reiffers Art Initiatives collection, offers a glimpse into its commitment to young artists on the French scene. Featured in the exhibition are paintings by Pol Taburet – winner of the 2022 Reiffers Art Initiatives Prize –, works by Gaëlle Choisne – a young artist from the 2023 Reiffers Art Initiatives Mentorship program and winner of the 2024 Marcel Duchamp Prize –, as well as pieces by Raphaël Barontini, who will also be celebrated at the Palais de Tokyo this spring.

Les Apparitions aims to bring together this vibrant French art scene with emerging international artists of prominence, such as Ser Serpas, winner of the 2023 Reiffers Art Initiatives Prize and recently exhibited at the Bourse de Commerce – Pinault Collection, Peruvian artist Wynnie Minerva, and Haitian artist Olivier Souffrant.
