For this second edition of the Reiffers Art Initiatives mentorship program, the African-American artist Kehinde Wiley, renowned portraitist of president Barack Obama, chose to support the young French-Senegalese talent Alexandre Diop.
The resulting exhibition “La Prochaine Fois, Le Feu” at the Acacias Art Center last October is chronicled in this art book, revealing the rich plastic dialogue between a young talent from the French art scene and an international figure in contemporary art.
