Wynnie Mynerva
Wynnie Mynerva is an artist, born in 1992 in Lima (Peru) and currently living in Düsseldorf (Germany). Graduating in 2017 with a degree in painting from the School of Fine Arts of Peru, the artist participates in the first exhibition of the permanent collection of Reiffers Art Initiatives, titled “Les Apparitions.”

Wynnie Mynerva develops a painting and performative practice that explores the transgression of gender and sexuality norms.
Her large-scale paintings are a vibrant extension of her body, a field of erotic and synthetic artistic exploration where desire and trauma intersect. By playing with the limits of abstraction, Mynerva rejects any categorization, consumption, or control of the bodies represented.
Her work is part of a dynamic of revolt and emancipation, where sexual dissidence becomes a political weapon.
